Testing times

21 Feb

I made the long journey oop north yesterday so that the layout could be given a shake down test. The full membership of Rochdale MRG were on hand to assist, comment and advise. Generally everything performed well with a few minor tweaks needed to points and track. A good evening and now the baseboards are a split, 2 for home and balls sting, 2 for Mcr and buildings.

Been thinking about the balls sting issue – only way is to keep the two boards permanently bolted together and present it as one board. If it needs to go out of the house, load it in car as one, arse end hanging out, drive round corner and split it! A good night last night, Thats the first time my 08 has run properly since Spotland Bridge went! I’ve put some pics up on the Rochdale blog

Just wished Id remembered the 60D to do it justice.
