Keep moving forwards

9 Mar

Never look back was the immortal phrase and so we keep pushing forward.

I have been moving along with the wagon rakes, one stage at a time but slowly getting to the end, only brake gear and matt varnish to go plus sprat & winkle couplings. There will be 30 to 40 mineral wagons available for Kirkmellington.

the 2 boards I have set up have been run in and adjustments made. I am happy that they are reliable now with various locos, shunters and wagon rakes run back and forth for a few hours without incident.

the colliery buildings are underway and etched windows have been ordered from York model making plus some from true texture.

plenty to do but less each week.
