Concerns mount over cuts in Rochdale

28 Mar

Further investment has been made and a guillotine chopper purchased from Todmorden Model Supplies . This is to simplify \ speed up cutting of corrogated sheet for the next tranche of colliery buildings. Sadly the process of indenting the cut sheet to represent the bolt heads is still a slow manual process but it keeps Mr B senior occupied and off the free trams of Greater Manchester.

Its quite a scary looking tool but appears to be a success with Mr B senior making good progress with the tin shed. This is destined to sit behind the winding gear.

Hopefully these buildings, probably unpainted, will be in place when the layout appears at Rochdale Exhibition on 12th & 13th April.
