You blue beauties

8 Apr

Following the deep and meaningful consideration of events at our debut show, Risex, we have invested in some Rail Blue DMUs for Railtour purposes. Step forward the Pit to Port Railtour…..

Bought second hand, we now have in DC, a Cravens class 105 which will become a Glasgow based unit and will gain central route indicator blinds. In DCC, we have a Derby class 108 which will be receiving window bars and will represent a Carlisle based unit. Both will then be weathered down. Both are now converted to EM gauge by pulling out the existing wheels.

To keep up the subterfuge, I have created headboards for the Pit to Port Railtour using MS Word, Autoshapes and photo glossy paper. Both units will debut at this weekends Rochdale MRG exhibition at Littleborough Coach House.
