Well 2016 has gone and so has lots of lost modelling time. My young family and unexpected work requirements away from home have eaten into my spare time that was previously used for modelling (or research for modelling).
I have managed some time down at the Risborough club but several projects have been started and stalled in the year. I have also now got a son (22 months) who can recognise all sorts of trains and say choo-choo 🙂
Looking ahead, I have 3 big shows in 2017 so have finally got a few jobs sorted. First up is Stafford in February where this beauty will hopefully debut.
It has been professionally built for me by Karl Crowther and features DCC sound and is now in plain black. I just need to add transfers and a weathering wash.
I have also renumbered my SLW 24 and added window bars to my 108 DMU. These also now need some weathering.
That Barclay is the mutts nutts. Need to see it and the layout in real life.
Reblogged this on sed30's Blog.
Lovely job on the Barclay. Mine is somewhat stalled at the moment due to self-inflicted chassis issues…
