A Barclay to bank on

20 Jan

Having taken delivery of my High Level Kits Barclay from Karl Crowther last weekend, I have now added the finishing touches in readiness to our appearance at Stafford in 2 weeks time.
Transfers are by Railtec and are very very good and the first of theirs I have used. Alclad Matt varnish and a light dusting of Railcolour sooty black and frame dirt complete the loco for now though I need to add some coal to the bunker.
I set up a 1yd test track to get a better feel for the sound chip and am, again, highly impressed with the Digitrains Zimo product. A full run through and shakedown will be great fun on the Friday once set up at Stafford.

That’s lovely B&D, looking forward to some photos/videos of her earning her keep on The layout, which we will hopefully get to see at some point!
