DRD transfers

22 Mar

A major gap in the model transfer market has up until this year been dry run down numerals for locos and stock. The previous supplier of choice, Replica Railways have had to stop manufacture and their stocks ran out a while back. Whilst I have some for BR blue diesels left, I had none for DMUs or coaches. I have been lucky to have some custom rub down transfers made by a new entrant to the hobby, Alex @ DRD Transfers These are for my DMU fleet which I applied to the 108 tonight.
They are very high quality and went onto the model very nicely. I have given a coat of varnish so can now sit back and admire them. They will also mean the 108 will be running at Ally Pally this weekend with numbers (it’s a Kingmoor based set, M50956 and M56238). Next up will be the 101 but I have other more serious plans for that model before I need numbers!!

I’m a very satisfied customer and will be buying more of these for locos.
