Project Paper (Inchyra Mill – 00 finescale)

The latest creation, will be based on the Tullis Russell owned Rothes and Auchmuty Paper Mill complex in Fife. The layout will be set in the early 1960s. It will feature a watercourse and a live road (using the Faller car system).

Research has included public archives, magazines and internet based photo and video resources.

Most buildings are being hand built from styrene sheet and then hand painted in a colour palette as close to the real mill as possible.

Rolling stock is a mix of detailed & weathered RTR alongside kit built examples. All are correct for the flows and time period modelled. Wagons will be formed into mini- rakes of 2 or 3 and fitted with sprat & wrinkle auto couplings (outer) and Smiths 3link couplings (inner).
